Courses in Schaffhausen
New courses will take place at the Artlounge, Bachstr. 29 in Schaffhausen. The courses will be hold in english and german.
Every Tuesday and wednesday (excluded school holidays) will be offered:
Course intuitive drawing
Attentiveness, concentration, patience and sensitivity are conveyed through specific exercises according to Thomas Lüchinger. In this course, drawing does not stand for copying but for learning through stimulationg and sense oriented experiences. Learning becomes one’s very own concern. Attentive in observation and designing is not dependend on talent or age. Playful experimenting and the readiness to take risks are facilitated, as is breaking with old habits.
5 x 3 hours. Tuesday mornings 9:00am – 12:00 pm
Course fees: CHF 290.—incl. material and one drink.
Portraiture through drawing and painting
The main focus will be to capture the portrait through use of a mirror or a model.Dark and light shading as well as colour will be applied. Participents can choose between mediums: charcoal, pencil, oilpastels, acrylics and tempera. To conclude, individual projects will be discussed as a group.
5 x 2,5 hours. Tuesday afternoon 2 pm – 4:30pm
Course fees: CHF 270.— incl. material, one drink.
Oil painting
Getting introduced to work with the medium oil and learning about its quialities. Curiosty and jowyfullness to experiment are most welcome. Individuell coaching gy selecting and mixing the colors and composing the painting. Group discussion at the end of the course.

5 x 3 hours., Wednesday morning 9:15am-12:15pm
Course fees: CHF 280,– excl. materials, incl. one drink.
Artclass for children and teenagers
Drawing and painting for children and youth aged 9-15. Precise observation and/or drawing and painting from imagination. Age appropriate and interesting themes with different mediums, such as charcol, pencil, oil pastels, acrylic and tempera are investigated. Restricted participation numbers ensure individual attention and tutoring.
5 x 1,5 hours. Wednesday early afternoon 1:30pm – 3pm.
As well Wednesday late afternoon 3:30pm – 5pm.
Course fees: CHF 150.—incl. materials, one drink.
Group size: max. 8 children/teenagers.
